Taiwanese computer maker Acer has recently come forward and stated that it remains committed in making Windows Phone handsets in addition to Android-run devices. Currently, Acer has only one Windows Phone device in the market, the Acer Allegro.
When it comes to Windows Phone device, the first brand that strikes our mind is Nokia that offers a series of affordable Lumia handsets. Next to it is the HTC brand whose HTC Titan device is quite popular among the masses. Acer too wants itself to be counted amongst this league of Windows Phone-based device offering companies, so it has made this commitment to come up with more Windows Phone-run handsets in the market.
This commitment by Acer is a good piece of news for Microsoft Corporation too as its manufacturing partners have not completely given up on its mobile operating system platform yet. The fans of Windows Phone should wait and watch until Acer officially announces the launch of its next Windows Phone device in the near future.
