Analysts: Businesses see boost in productivity with Windows® 7
Bid Adieu to the your old Windows XP operating system and boost your business needs with the new and powerful operating system from Microsoft – Windows 7. Majority of business owners have previously used Windows Vista and then moved to Windows XP as a platform to meet their business requirements. As per the research by Gartner Inc., Stamford, Connecticut, there are about 300 million copies of Windows XP in use worldwide.
But the inadequacies and shortfalls of both these operating systems have led to the advent of Windows 7, just after three short years of the launch of Windows Vista.
Released in late 2009, Windows 7 has much improved features and speed. It provides better security to your confidential data and information stored on your PC. It has a completely new and revamped user interface and is even less prone to fatal computer errors like Blue Screen of Death.
Michael Silver, Research Vice President for mobile and client computing, Gartner Inc. said “Windows 7 has better memory management and overall better stability, and especially faster startup and resume time”. He further added that PCs installed with Windows 7 take much less time to start, in about 30 seconds, when compared to those with Windows XP and provide much better productivity.
Even Microsoft has announced that by the start of 2014 it will stop providing support for Windows XP. And without the support from Microsoft, you will not be able to receive security updates that safeguard your computer from malicious software and other harmful virus.
So, replace your Windows XP with a much reliable Windows 7 OS and make a winning leap in your business.
