To contradict an earlier report, quoting a company executive of Rovio Mobile, stating that Angry Birds Space would skip the Microsoft Windows Phone platform, the CEO of Rovio Mobile, Mikael Hed said that the company is ”working towards getting Angry Birds Space to WP7.”
However, Hed said that the date of launch has not yet been decided. The game Angry Birds is topping the sales charts on all major platforms. Reports about the gaming company getting away from the Windows Phone was seen as a major setback to the strategy of Nokia to incorporate the game in all its upcoming smartphones.
But now, the statement of Rovio Mobile’s CEO has brushed aside all the fears and speculations of Nokia company. ”We are working closely together with Nokia to bring our games to their platforms,” Hed said. ”Our mutual goal is to bring the best possible experience to our fans, including all fans using Windows Phone devices.”
