There is good piece of news for the owners of Windows Phone 7-based Nokia Lumia 900 smartphones. Users of AT&T can now more easily transfer their contacts on their handsets using a free version of its data transfer app called Mobile Transfer.
The data transfer app is optimized for Windows Phone mobile operating system. Previously, the mobile data transfer app was available for iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry users only. The Mobile Transfer app allows the user to upload wirelessly as much as 2 GB of subscriber data such as contacts, photos, and videos to AT&T servers, making it easier for consumers to upgrade devices. Users must download the Mobile Transfer app to their current handset before activating their new device. The Mobile Transfer app is not a long-term data backup solution as on activating the new phone, the consumer gets only seven days to download their personal data.
The user can access his data as many times as he likes within those seven days, which means that the user can reset his phone a couple of times if required. Click here to check the compatibility of your handset with this Mobile Transfer app before you decide to try it.
