The kiddos are just going to love it! The new app from TouchyBooks, designed for Windows Phone, lets the kids go underwater on a mission to find a sunken ship with whole lot of treasure.
A new app from TouchyBooks is now available for Windows Phone users. Targeted for children aged four and above, the app is called Deep-sea Submarine. It is based on a book published by the award-winning British publication, Top That! The Publication firm has to its credit more than 3000 titles and caters primarily to pre-school children. According to Top That!, “Their books are designed to promote child development, enrich relationships, and foster creativity and imagination”. The e-book version of the book has been developed by Genera Interactive and distributed by TouchyBooks.
Children are sure to have fun while they go through this interactive version of the book. It allows them to maneuver the submarine according to their will and hunt for the sunken ship while dodging various obstacles that come in their path. The app comes with a control panel at the bottom of the screen that lets them steer the submarine with their fingers in whichever direction they want it to move. Apart from this feature, the app boasts of numerous other features that include voice-narrated text, amazing sound effects, and cool aquatic characters. The best part, however, is that the app has been designed to help children develop their co-ordination skills while having great fun!
