FourBros Studio, the developer of Windows Phone game Taptitude, is generating a daily income of US$ 1,000 on average from the Windows Phone platform. The Washington-based developer FourBros released Taptitude for Windows Phone a year ago as a free to download game title.
FourBros used a combination of advertising services to generate revenue including cross-promotion network AdDuplex and Microsoft’s own pubCenter. According to the game developer, the wider adoption of Windows Phone 7 obviously led to their newfound success, but there were other factors at play as well.
According to the FourBros blog post, the free-to-play game is "supported by pubCenter ads. In this buisness model, you are paid based on how many 'impressions' you get each day. The amount you're paid per thousand impressions is refered to as 'eCPM'. For example, if you get 10,000 impressions at $1 eCPM, then pubCenter will pay you $10."
The success of FourBros is a good sign for other developers. They might think it as high time to invest in the Windows Phone platform. Click here to know what makes the game Taptitude so popular among the users of Windows Phone.
