The makers of Diablo franchise, Blizzard Entertainment, has announced that the third installment in the popular game series will be launched on 15 May, 2012 for Windows XP/ Windows Vista/ Windows 7 and Macintosh platforms at a suggested price of US $59.99 for both the retail DVD-ROM version and the digital version sold directly from Blizzard.
"After many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, we're now in the homestretch,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. ”We look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15.”
The game Diablo III allows the players to take on the role of one of the five heroic characters – barbarian, witch doctor, wizard, monk, or demon hunter – and get involved in a adrenaline-boosting battle with endless number of evils. As the players undertake an epic quest to rid the Sanctuary from corrupting forces of the Burning Hells, they get a chance to explore many more difficult levels and meet other important characters, who will join the players in the battle or help them in different manners.
