EVERNOTE® App Released for Windows® Phone 7
The latest note taking application for Windows Phone 7
Evernote has recently released its latest note-taking app for Windows Phone 7. The new note taking application enables users to be organized in taking notes on their Smartphones and sharing it over social networks. Whether it is your “To Do” list or shopping list, you will now find it easier to take notes with this app as it can be installed in Windows Phone 7.
In this new release, Evernote has taken a special advantage of the Windows Phone 7 platform in order to leverage the market of note taking apps, which has not seen any dominance by a single app in Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. This app also comes with a distinct advantage of social networking as you will be able to share the notes with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. By introducing this app for Windows Phone 7, Evernote has expanded its services to multiple OS platforms, which will increase its overall user base.
The app is divided into different screens, which are called panoramas. The first screen is called the “Home Panorama”, which is divided into four panorama panels. These four panorama panels have been divided for easier navigation throughout the app which includes: Recent Notes, Tags, Notebooks and Notes. You can easily tag your notes on the home screen and access them without looking for them in different folders or screens.
In this app, users can edit and create notes across multiple platforms along with adding multimedia components, such as images and audio. Evernote has even gone further in developing a note taking app by syncing it with maps. This means that you can store a note in terms of your location and be able to retrieve it on the map.
Evernote premium subscribers will be allowed to access their notes offline, which will enable users to edit and enjoy multimedia features.
By introducing apps for notes in Windows Phone 7, Evernote seeks to play a leading role in increasing its market dominance in the mobile phone apps market.
