The online movie and television service NETFLIX is making its Windows Phone app available internationally, allowing users in the UK, Ireland, and Latin America regions to stream TV shows and films from their Windows Phones through mobile data or Wi-Fi connections.
The NETFLIX app for Windows Phone-run devices has been available on Windows Phone in the U.S. and Canada since November 2010, but has now been released globally.
The NETFLIX app features all of the major capabilities of the other NETFLIX apps including watching videos over 3G connections and Wi-Fi, sub-titles, localized language support, and cross-country support as long as the country visited by the user has NETFLIX. The NETFLIX app also allows the users to select alternative audio tracks or sub-titles for their videos.
NETFLIX was launched in the UK and Ireland in January this year for various devices, that include iOS and Android-based smartphones and tablets, games consoles, PCs, Macs, and Internet-connected TVs. NETFLIX offers content at a monthly price of €6.99 in Ireland and £5.99 in the UK.
