Latest AVG® versions for Windows® 7
With the launch of version 9.0 of AVG Antivirus solution,Â Grisoft has becomeÂ the first company to offer support for Windows 7 trial version Beta ever since it has been released in January 2009.
The new version of AVG security solution would be available for download before a week from the launch of Windows 7 on October 22, 2009. AVG Internet security 9.0, AVG AntiVirus & Firewall 9.0 and AVG Antivirus 9.0 would be available to the customers from October 5, 2009. According to anti virus maker, all the latest releases would be compatible with Windows 7, both 32-bit and the 64-bit edition of the operating system.
The latest releases would prove to be promising and enhance user experience, the user can work with simpler notification, high performance and improved protection with AVG 9.0. The new AVG version 9.0 is now able to track safe and unsafe files on a customer machine on the first check.
With enhanced performance, the time taken by AVG has also been decreased by 50%. The security company also marked that reduction in scanning time corresponds with improved boot times and memory usage by 10% to 15%.
The statement was released by J.R Smith, CEO, AVG Technologies which states that AVG 9.0 would provide home computer users with a more powerful and more streamlined solution which would adds protection without impacting user experience, taking us back to our core strength of low impact and high performance security. To provide additional protection against identity theft, the AVG Identity recovery Unit, which is free of charge, has also been designed by AVG. The AVG is the first company to offer AVG Identity recovery Unit to meet this critical issue which marks unbeatable commitment of AVG to its customers.
