The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) official website has revealed that an unannounced Windows Phone from LG, labeled as “LS831”, has just passed the certification. Not only this, the FCC website has even revealed many details about the upcoming Windows Phone handset from LG, and even carries photos of the actual device accompanying the certification documents.
The details about the yet to be released Windows Phone from LG on FCC website indicate that the phone will run on the CDMA network on both the 800 MHz and 1900 MHz bands, in which the 800 MHz is used by the U.S. network carrier Sprint. By looking at the photographs available on the FCC website one can make out that it will come equipped with a 5 megapixels front-facing camera and a 4-inch display (estimated on the basis of ruler measurement). Other than this, nothing else is revealed about the upcoming LG Windows Phone device on the FCC portal.
During late summer last year, leaked images of this Windows Phone device from LG popped on the Internet. However, now that it has been certified by the FCC, the day is not far away when the handset will be officially released by LG.
