Microsoft® Internet Explorer 9 widely used on Windows® 7
In a recent research, it has been found that Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 has crushed Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browser usage on Windows 7. The day when Microsoft launched Internet Explorer 9, the company started pushing all the Windows 7 users to switch on to this browser for enhanced safety and new features. In due course of time, a large chunk of Windows 7 users migrated to Internet Explorer 9 so as to get stability and fine interface. At the same time, Mozilla and Google also updated their respective browsers to make them compatible with Windows 7. It was a challenging period for the company to stay alive in the browser battle, but Microsoft did not lose its confidence in the middle and continued to drive its consumers to test out Internet Explorer 9.
Seeing the stats from Internet applications for the month of September 2011, it has been proved that Internet Explorer 9 on a Windows 7 platform carries a worldwide share of 22.1% and 31% share in the United States.
