Telstra is soon going to launch its first smartphone that will be based on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system and will support 4G mobile speed. The smartphone in question is going to be a model named HTC Titan II 4G.
This is not for the first time that the HTC Titan II has been pegged for an Australian launch through Telstra. Many months ago, a tech portal stated that an Australian launch of HTC Tital II had been confirmed at some stage this year. At that time, it was speculated that the Titan II was likely to launch through Telstra, as the phone supports LTE standard, which only Telstra has so far launched on its network.
The smartphone, if it does launch in Australia, will definitely be Australia’s top Windows Phone 7 model. It is anticipated to come with a 4.7-inch super LCD touchscreen, a 16 megapixel camera, and a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S2 processor.
