ViewSonic is anticipated to announce the launch of another tablet during the ongoing Mobile World Congress at Barcelona, Spain. Named ViewPad P100, the tablet will come factory-installed with Windows 7 Professional operating system.
The tablet is expected to feature a 10-inch 1280 x 800 pixels capacitive touchscreen IPS display and an Intel N2600 processor, which is Dual Core and clocked at 1.6GHz. Other expected features of ViewPad P100 include 1 GB RAM, 16 GB or 32 GB onboard storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, optional 3G connectivity, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth.
The ViewPad P100 tablet will have two cameras. ViewSonic is targeting business and corporate clients with the release of this tablet. ViewSonic has not confirmed when it will launch, where and for how much. More likely the tablet will also run on the upcoming Windows 8 operating system when it goes LIVE.
ViewSonic unveiled ViewPad 10Pro 3G last year. It came with both Android and Windows 7 Pro. Similar to ViewPad p100, it had a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 pixels display and costs nearly 500 UK pounds.
