Want to Backup System Information on Windows® 7-based PC?
Whenever you install a latest program, update Windows operating system or any other software, there are chances of losing crucial system information. Also, some of the files, which are important for the normal functioning of your PC, might get corrupt. Recovering lost files or repairing corrupted files can be quite an intricate affair. Therefore, it is always recommended to take backup of all the system files prior to downloading any new program or performing an update. By taking backup of your system information, you can restore the files as and when needed.
If you want to backup system information and owns Windows 7-based PC , it is extremely simple and doable. Here’s how:
Step 1: First of all go to ‘Start’ menu and select ‘Control Panel’.
Step 2: Now click on ‘System and Security’ then on the left side, select ‘System Protection’.
Step 3: A small windows will appear with the ‘System Protection’ tab highlighted. Click on ‘Create…’ at the bottom.
Step 4: Make different labels to keep in mind which backup is which. Now the Windows should start making restore points. After a while, you will receive a message saying that the procedure has completed successfully.
Step 5: If you want to restore your system information then repeat step 1 and click on ‘System Restore…’ on the top of the message.
When you backup system information, always remember that this will not protect data, including e-mails, pictures, etc.
