Know What’s the Time in Windows® 7 Tray
If you need to keep a track of time in different time zones of the world, then Windows 7 operating system has come up with a Windows 7 System Tray Clock. With this feature, you will be able to add more clocks of different time zones right on your Windows 7 desktop.
Step 1: At the bottom right corner of your computer screen, you will see current time and date. Double-click on it and a bigger analog clock on your screen, along with a calendar, will appear.
Step 2: To change the current date and time or if you want to add another time zone clock, click on ‘Change date and time settings’ link at the bottom. This will open the ‘Date and Time’ dialog box.
Step 3: In the top row of this box, three tabs will appear: Date and Time, Additional Clocks, and Internet Time. If you want to add another clock of different time zone, click on ‘Additional Clocks’ tab.
Step 4: Select the time zone from the drop down menu, for which you want to add the clock.
Step 5: Select the small box against Show Clock, click on ‘Apply’ and then, click on ‘OK’. You will be able to view this additional clock either by clicking on the Taskbar clock, or just by hovering the mouse pointer over it. You can also enter a display name for this clock, so that you can easily remember where the clock belongs to.
So, now you can get access to different time zones right at your fingertips.
