An early build of Windows Phone 8 has been reportedly spotted with build number 8.0.9662.0 on a social networking app "I’m WP7". Windows Phone 8, which is also known as Windows Phone 8 ‘Apollo’, is the forthcoming mobile operating system from Microsoft.
Scott Peterson, the developer of the app "I’m a WP7", said that it’s pretty difficult to forge the ID and OS of a terminal, but at the same time he commented that it’s not impossible to do so. Scott also said that the app was run from an emulator, and the OS does not seem to be fake and the terminal was set to the U.S. time zone.
Windows Phone 8 ‘Apollo’ is expected to arrive sometime later this year. An announcement from Microsoft is widely anticipated by the rest of the smartphone community anytime during this summer. Windows Phone 8 is believed to offer Dual Core CPU support, additional display resolutions, and NFC capability amongst other features. It is being rumored around the Internet world that Microsoft has already started the internal testing of its forthcoming mobile operating system - Windows Phone 8 - from 30th March in its labs. If it comes out to be true then the day is not far when Microsoft will officially announce the release of this advanced platform.
