With this, Absolute Software company now provides support to the leading mobile operating platforms, which include iOS, Android, BlackBerry, and Windows.
The company claims that the Absolute Manage 6.0.3 allows its users to securely manage Mac, iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices from a single console. The platform allows IT administrators to wirelessly configure devices, offer apps, answer queries regarding policies, track and reduce roaming charges, wipe data or lock the device, and securely distribute documents to mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
According to Peter Frankl, VP, Lifecycle Management at Absolute, “The Absolute Manage software provides a cost-effective solution for the device security and management needs of customers.” Frankl also believes that Absolute Manage provides customers with control, for both devices on the corporate network and those over the Internet.
