Microsoft has announced the availability of Windows XP Mode Release Candidate for Windows 7. On the basis of feedback received from the users of Windows XP Mode beta version, Microsoft has made many improvements to the usability of Windows XP Mode for small as well as medium-sized business users.
Now you can directly attach USB devices to Windows XP Mode applications from the Windows 7 task-bar. In other words your USB devices, such as printers, scanners and flash drives, are available to applications running in Windows XP Mode, without the need for going into full screen mode.
You can access the Windows XP Mode applications with a JumpList. For this, you just have to right click on the Windows XP Mode applications from the Windows 7 Task Bar to select and open the most recently used files. If you do not need this feature, you can even disable the drive sharing between Windows XP Mode and Windows 7.
