Network properties options
To take network connection properties, firstly from Control Panel, you would take Network and Internet. Then from Network and Sharing Center, you have to click the Manage network connections. Then by right clicking the connection, you could take Properties. You could see various options there. There are three tabs including General, Authentication and Advanced. In General, the options would enable the system to log on to the NetWareservers and could access the resources. Various options include Internet Protocol, Client Service for NetWare, Client for Microsoft Network, File and Printer sharing of Microsoft Networks etc. In the Authentication tab, you need to enable that option to enable the authenticated network access.
Check for connections
When there are any issues with the network, there might be some connection problems. You would check that all wires to the router are connected tightly. You would then check that that wireless adapter is enabled. You need to open the Device Manager and look if the adapter is enabled or not. If you have got PCMCIA or USB wireless adapter, you would remove that firstly and then insert it correctly.
Incompatibility of drivers would cause the network issues. You have to make sure that proper drivers are being installed for the network card, router and modem etc. The outdated drivers would also cause issues. So, you need to update the drivers from the genuine website. If there are any yellow marks near the driver, that would indicate the driver issues. So you have to check for that and try to replace the wrong driver with compatible and good driver. Try to scan the system and remove all viruses. Sometimes they would also cause issues in network.
