4 easy steps on how to clear Firefox form and search history in Windows 7
Did you know that Mozilla Firefox, or for that matter any browser, stores whatever you search or the type-in forms that you fill on a webpage so that you can re-use it later. This is done to give you a superior browsing experience so that you don’t have to type in the same queries again and again or fill out the type-in forms repeatedly. If, however, you are concerned about your privacy and don’t want Firefox to store this information, you can do that as well.
Follow these 4 simple steps and clear your search history as well as the Firefox forms.
- Open Mozilla Firefox.
- Click on the ‘Tools’ menu and then select ‘Clear Recent History’ from the menu that appears.
- In the drop down list next to ‘Time range to clear’, select ‘Everything’.
- Make sure ‘Form and Search History’ option is selected and then click ‘Clear Now’ to clear form and search history from Firefox.
- This, however, will delete all saved usernames and passwords from Firefox.
