Windows® Live® Movie Maker in Windows® 7
Windows Live Movie Maker is a program in the Windows Live Essential suite that can be used to capture video and audio clips such that these clips can be edited and arranged into the movies. These movies can be played on your computer, also you can distribute and share your movies with your liked ones. They can be transferred by the medium of e-mail.
You can launch the Windows Movie Maker by following the steps:
STEP 1 : Click onÂ Start.
STEP 2 : Then click on All Programs.
STEP 3 : Select Windows Live
STEP 4 : Finally, click on Windows Live Movie Maker. Windows 7 will now open the Movie Maker window
For adding the media clips to the collections area of the Movie Maker window, for the movie which you are creating, what you have to do is to import the media files and captured video clips which you have saved at any location on your computer's hard disk.
Now go to the Home tab of the Movie Maker Window and click on the Add button in the Videos and Photos portion.
Add Videos and Photos; dialog box will then be opened by the Windows Movie Maker, from where you can opt for opening the media library folder which is basically the Pictures or Videos library and then choose the photos or video clips that you need before you click on the Open button.
For including a sound file to be played as the soundtrack for the movie along with audio which is captured as part of the videos clips that you import, you have to click on the Add button in the Soundtrack section of the Movie Maker Window. After this step, the Movie Maker will open the Add Music dialog box, in which you open the library folder, which is usually the Music library and then choose the audio file which you want to set as the background music.
