Transfer pictures from your camera to your Windows® 7-based computer
Now, you can see your pictures and videos on your Windows 7 computer also. Windows 7 offers you a few different ways for importing your pictures and video clips to your computer from your camera.
Let us see one of the ways for importing multimedia contents from your camera to your computer.
STEP 1 : Start with connecting your camera with the help of the USB cable to your Windows 7 computer.
STEP 2 : Then, turn on the camera.
STEP 3 : After turning on the camera, an autoplay dialog box will appear. Click on the option Import pictures and videos using Windows.
STEP 4 : You can select the optional step for tagging the pictures, where you have to type a tag name in the option named Tag these pictures box. Also, you can add some explanatory tags to your pictures while importing them in the same box. Even after importing the pictures you can add additional tags to them. The date when pictures and videos are imported is by default, included in the folder name and the tag name.
STEP 5 : Finally, click on Import option, which will open a new window, showing the imported pictures and videos.
You can use the Pictures library for finding and viewing pictures and video clips on your Windows 7 computer.Â All the pictures located in the My pictures folder can be seen in the Pictures library. How to open Pictures library? You can open Pictures library by clicking on the start button and then clicking on Pictures.
