Create network profile
To set up a default network profile go to the ‘Control Panel’. Then click the ‘Connect to’ option. Then a list of network profile will be displayed in the system. This list contains the profiles that are currently available. If the lists contain the network that you want to set up then select that profile and click ‘Connect’. After selecting a particular network profile from the list it will automatically save on your computer and it will be displayed next time when you connect with the network.
Manage network connection
If the list does not contain the network profile you want to set up then select and enable the network adapter integrated in your system. This can be done from the Control Panel. Select ‘Network and Internet’ from the control panel and click ‘Network and sharing centre’. In Network and sharing centre select ‘Manage network connection’. Then right click on the ‘Network adapter’ and then click ‘Enable’.
We can also create a network connection manually. For that click ‘Setup a connection or network’ and then click on ‘Manually connect to wireless network’. Clicking ‘Next’ will provide some instruction for the setup process. Follow the online screen instruction in order to setup manual connection. If you save the connection then it will appear on the list the next time you connect the system with the network. To provide security settings and authentication, select the ‘Change Connection Settings’.
