Windows® 7 GodMode
Microsoft newest operating system, Windows 7, is loaded with several innovative features which are mesmerizing users worldwide. Windows 7 enthusiasts have discovered yet another hidden feature of the operating system called “GodMode”. This tool allows users to access all of the operating system's control panels from within a single folder. The only catch is that no new features of this mode have been revealed and only a list of tasks that can be completed within Control Panel has been exposed.
Planned for developers as a shortcut to a gamut of internal settings, features like GodMode have been there in Windows OS since Windows Vista and even before. A senior person of Microsoft Windows division has said that this so called GodMode settings folder exposed by bloggers is just one of the undocumented developer features incorporated in Windows.
The idea works on both the 32 and 64-bit Windows 7 Version and should also work on Windows Vista 32-bit and Windows Server 2008 32-bit. However, it can break down 64-bit versions of Windows Vista and you may require to start your computer in safe mode.
By making a new folder in Windows 7 and changing its name with a specific text string at the end, users will be able to do several things from from a single place like changing the look of the mouse pointer, making a new hard-drive partition etc.
