Windows Edition presents the information about the operating system like the new WindowsÂ 7 version such as Home Premium, and the most recently installed service pack of the operating system. It also shows a link to the section of the Microsoft web site from which the currently installed version of Windows can be upgraded, provided the higher service pack of the Windows, if available.
System shows the computer’s Windows Experience Index base score, which is a number that range from 1.0 to 7.9. It displays the information about the processor type, its speed, the amount of onboard RAM that is present, and the system type. In general, this category gives the information about the model and the manufacturer of the computer.
Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, display the computer name, the network domain, workgroup, or HomeGroup the computer linked with.
Windows activation displays the Windows activation status and product ID.
The Windows Experience Index base score that is displayed in the System window is the lowest of the individual ratings scored by the some of the system components like the processor speed, general desktop graphics capabilities, installed RAM, primary hard disk data transfer rate.
