Workgroup Sharing in Windows® 7
Discuss file sharing and security in Windows 7 workgroup.
Using Windows 7 workgroup, you can share files and folders among the computers in a network. If you have multiple computers at home or work place, you can connect all of them to a network. If you connect it to a network, you can share files, folders etc through this network. For sharing and receiving files, both the systems must have the same Operating System. You can easily share the files and folders using the HomeGroup feature. For a network, it contains an administrator for controlling all the systems. The administrator can protect the data by providing password security. So, unauthorized persons cannot access the files or data from a shared network. The person who is on the shared network or domain can access the files and folders. You can also provide security between home group and workgroup.
