Windows® 7 Settings
When you are upgrading from a previous version of Windows operating system to a newer version, then you might face some difficulty in changing the settings. For instance while upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 you might face some problems in altering some settings like the control panel settings, keyboard settings, systems settings. There are various Windows 7 settings like the system settings, security settings, keyboard and mouse settings, themes settings and so on.
You can change Windows 7 settings using control panel. Because control panel is point from where you alter and modify various system settings. It can be used for changing various system settings and to manage the working and look of Window.
How to open control panel for changing Windows 7 settings?
The procedure to open Control Panel is like:
STEP 1 : Click on the Start button.
STEP 2 : After which click on the Control Panel to open it.
Also, there is an another way to reach at the items in the control Panel, by clicking on Start followed by typing the name of the item in the search box. A list of results will be available, you can click on the desired item to reach at the particular setting that you were looking for. When you reach at Control Panel, then you can select the item whose setting has to be changed, and make the following changes.
For changing some other Windows 7 settings like troubleshooting the devices which are connected to the computer and are not working properly. You can follow the procedure to see whether the devices connected to your computer are working properly or not. You can open the devices and printers folder by clicking on the Start button followed by clicking on Devices and Printers option and can check all the devices which are connected to the computer and are not working properly.
For running your Windows 7 computer smoothly, you can go to Action Center and change the security and maintenance settings. You can access the Action Center by clicking on the flag icon and then clicking on open Action Center. There will be some items which will be marked in red color. It indicates that these components needs more attention than others.
