Pin a program to the Start menu on Windows 7
The Start menu on your Windows-based PC acts as a gateway to various programs, settings and folders of your computer. And do you know in Windows 7-based PC, you can pin all the programs of your choice to the Start menu. This is an extremely handy feature since it brings all your mostly used programs to the Start menu, making them accessible in just a single click. You needn’t go into folders and explore it for launching a program. You can pin program shortcuts to the top of the Start menu so that you can open them quickly and conveniently to become more productive. And according to your convenience, at any point in time, you can unpin any program. Pinning a program to the Start menu just takes a moment.
1. To pin a program icon to Start Menu, click ‘Start’.
2. Right click the program and then click ‘Pin to Start Menu’ on the menu that appears.
In addition to the aforementioned steps, you can also pin programs that you use on a regular basis by simply finding a program by clicking on the ‘Start’ menu and dragging it on the top left area of the Start menu.
