The 64 bit processing is supported on all the editions except the Windows 7 Starter. The backup utility on the network is absent in Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Basic and Windows 7 Home Premium editions. The HomeGroup feature cannot be created in the Windows 7 Starter and Windows 7 Home Basic editions. Users can only join in the HomeGroup functionality. Multiple monitors are not supported on the Windows 7 Starter edition. The RAM size, physical support of the CPUs etc is also less in the Windows 7 Home Basic and Windows 7 Starter editions.
Windows 7 Home Basic and Windows 7 Starter editions support a limited number of features compared to the other editions. The Windows 7 Ultimate edition includes a large number of features.
