Enabling shadow copies
Shadow copies of shared folders create a default schedule and settings for succeeding shadow copies. In order to make changes to these defaults, click Settings. The shadow copies are enabled on volume basis and the user cannot select specific shares on a volume to copy. Open Computer Management and right-click Shared Folders, and then point to All Tasks, and click Configure Shadow Copies. Also choose the volume where you want to enable shadow copies of shared folders, and then click Enable.
For changing the settings in shadow copies of shared folders, open the Computer Management and right-click Shared Folders, after that All Tasks, and then click Configure Shadow Copies. The user could select the volume where they want to make changes, and then click Settings. The settings of Storage volume, Details, Storage limits and Schedule can be changed.
