Windows 7: Open browser windows in the maximized size
While using a web browser – to play games, access your mailbox, or do some online shopping – you may open up different windows so that you can multitask. A good option that you can try out is to resize the different windows so that you can arrange them on your monitor and easily navigate across. Similarly, you can also set your browser windows to open up at the maximized size to better suit your purpose and preference. If, by default, your favorite browser is set to open at any size, other than the maximized size, you can modify the same using the short solution steps mentioned below.
If you are using a Windows 7 PC, this is what you can do:
1. Right click on the shortcut you generally use to open the browser and click on “Properties”.
2. On the ‘Shortcut’ tab, change the ‘Run’ selection from “Normal Window” to “Maximized”.
3. Click “OK”.
This will set your browser to open up in its maximized size, anytime you attempt to launch it. By setting up this criterion, you can save yourself of the hassles of adjusting the browser size each time you launch it. Now, till the time you access the very options mentioned above to change the settings, your favorite browser will open up in the maximized size only.
Here is a solution video that you can watch to recall the easy steps mentioned above.
