Step 2: Click the ‘System Protection’ link in the left column.
Step 3: The System Properties window comes up with the System Protection tab selected. Highlight your local drive and click ‘Configure’.
Step 4: Now move the Max Usage slider down to a lower percentage. It will show how much space is enabled and then click ‘OK’.
Step 5: When your Restore Points reach the maximum disk space you allocate, Windows deletes older points to make room for the newest one.
Step 6: Click ‘OK’
