Windows 7: Start in Safe Mode using MSConfig
Starting Windows 7 in Safe Mode is a way to diagnose problems caused either due to programs or devices and provide quick fixes to them. - Type ‘msconfig’ in the search field.
- Press ‘Enter’ on your keyboard.

- Select the check box next to ‘Safe boot’.
- Click ‘OK’ and then click on ‘Restart’.
Your Windows 7 would start in Safe Mode until you uncheck the box.
